JOHOR BARU: The body of a 43year-old businesswoman was found in a hole below a container hidden in a lorry workshop in Kampung Sri Purnama on Friday night.

Goh Geok Leong was believed to have been killed by her foreign worker before being dumped into the hole which was then covered by the container.

The discovery was made by police at 9.30pm after other employees reported her missing. The employees thought Goh had been kidnapped.

Johor Baru Selatan police chief Assistant Commissioner Shahu-rinain Jais said the employees had informed police they had last seen Goh at 2pm on Friday.

He said they found her personal items in her office and checked closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera footage, which showed her going to the back of the workshop, but not coming out.

“When they checked the back of the premises, they found her shoes, leading them to believe that she had been kidnapped.”

Shahurinain said investigations led police to the arrests of two Myanmar men aged 20 and 39.

He said the case was being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.

“Goh’s remains were sent to the Sultanah Aminah Hospital for post-mortem.

“We are looking for another suspect in the case.”
