The 1st and ‘BEST’ sports day

-

SRI Bestari International School recently organised a memorable and competitive event, called ”BEST Day”, which stands for the four avatars of the school’s sports team — Bison, Eagle, Shark and Tiger.

The fun-filled event was an integration of sports, friendly matches, leisure, fun cooking sessions, as well as dances and cheerleading.

The sports event started with a track-and-field event followed by outdoor team games — tug of war, dodgeball, football, basketball and netball.

Exciting duels of online chess were played indoors until a final winner was pronounced. Subsequently, it continued with the primary students participating in a set of thrilling relay race games designed for them.

A cooking session was organised by the teachers, where both students and teachers cooked together as a team to prepare lunch for the whole crowd, which brought in lots of fun and laughter.

At Sri Bestari International School, a good bond is encouraged between teachers and students.

The day ended with two of the Year One emcees declaring it was time for prize giving and a cheerleading performance by their talented students. It was a successful first sports event for the school and it was indeed one of the best days the school could ever ask for.

Committed to instilling and promoting the values of sportsmanship, Sri Bestari International School’s sister school Sri Bestari Private School also had their 22nd Sports Day which was attended by parents, to witness the athletic skills and prowess of the students.

Parents were entertained by the students’ march-past and their sportsmanship, which displayed the student’s vibrant energy and skills.

Sri Bestari International School is a wholly owned subsidiary and a new addition to the education arm of Land and General Bhd.

It aims to inspire children towards a growth mindset by educating, training and imparting noble values to young men and women to be outstanding professionals, ethical individuals and leaders of tomorrow.
