‘DAP’S POWER GAME EXPOSED’
People should take claims seriously, says Perak MB
DAP’s true intentions in Perak have been exposed following the press conference held by its lifetime member, Amran Ahmad.
Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir said it was clear what sort of “game” DAP was playing in the state.
He said the issues brought up by Amran should be taken seriously as he was someone responsible for managing publicity matters of the party.
“Let everyone know how DAP play games to ensure that their candidates are in positions of power. They are willing to play out their own choice for menteri besar, (Datuk Seri Mohammad) Nizar (Jamaluddin), just so they can control things.”
Amran, who is an assistant producer of DAP’s official channel, UbahTV, had claimed that he received an email from DAP’s sole Malay candidate in Perak, Professor Dr Abdul Aziz Bari, who said the plan was for state DAP chairman Nga Kor Ming to hold the power in the state.
He claimed that this was so that power would be placed in the hands of the Chinese community.
He said Aziz claimed that Nizar was no longer DAP’s choice for menteri besar.
It is understood that should the opposition take over the state, a Malay assemblyman would be placed in the menteri besar seat, though Nga would be controlling the person behind the scenes.
On another matter, Zambry, who is contesting the Lumut parliamentary and Pangkor state seats, said a viral video clip of Nga talking about Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s age had likely made the opposition ill at ease.
“Just imagine, he (Nga) can even make fun of (the opposition’s) prime ministerial candidate. You can see the way they communicate and how they view people. There is no sense of respect at all.”
