AS Ramadan approaches, Grand BlueWave Hotel Shah Alam (GBWHSA) offers guests with an extravagan­t Iftar feast. It is a good way to strengthen ties and share the bliss of the holy month. Beginning with the sighting of the new moon, GBWHSA will bring guests to the Middle East with an enchanting ambiance at Royale Songket. Hotel’s culinary experts have created special culinary delights for its patrons for the entire month of Ramadan. Guests will indulge in the delicacies that have been prepared to commemorat­e this very special month.

Our Ramadan buffet extravagan­za showcases over 100 different dishes from freshly prepared salads and kerabu, soups, hot dishes as well as tantalisin­g desserts to a variety of thirst-quencher beverages and action-cooking stall dishes to choose from and savour your favourite Ramadan delights. Break the fast in style while amusing your tastebuds with lavish options from Italian specialtie­s and Asian delicacies to appetising Middle Eastern classics such as masak lemak ikan tenggiri, sambal tempe with jering, sweet and sour squid, pizza margarita, braised beef Wellington, assorted dim sum, sautee meatballs, bolognese, whole lamb, roasted beef, ayam golek, baba ghanoush, chicken shawarma, chicken makhbous beef ball kofta with tomato stew, and the list is endless.

In addition, there will be local favourites such as the mouth-watering rojak buah, sotong kangkung, lemang, lemang pulut/hitam, ketupat palas, serunding daging, serunding ayam, lontong, kari ikan, asam pedas, roti canai, murtabak, tandoori chicken with naan, mee udang, asam laksa, hainan chicken rice and many more delicious dishes for you to enjoy.

On top of that, there will be the oldtimes favourite ‘goreng-goreng’ stalls serving banana fritters, keropok lekor, and roti john that will tantalise your tastebuds. Not forgetting the greens. There will be local kampung salad and assorted kerabu with seven types of sambal, and also jeruk buah-buahan.

Selections of high quality tea and coffee are available for guests to savour. Exclusive Ramadan tea sets, complete with sweet and savoury finger food perfect for those looking for an elegant ambiance and light bites prior to a heavy and fulfilling meal, are available.

To cleanse the palate, anticipate the satisfacti­on of enjoying, ice kacang with condiments, marble cheese cake, chocolate moist cake, fruit cocktail, kuih ketayap, kuih keria, bubur pulut hitam, serawa pisang, banana bread and butter pudding and Malaysian’s top favourite, sago gula Melaka.

GBWHSA Ramadan buffet promotion runs from May 17 to June 14. It will be served at our Royale Songket Restaurant, located at the ground floor. The restaurant has exclusive Malaysian heritage in contempora­ry setting inspired by gold and silver woven thread fabric. The price per adult will be RM125 nett and RM65 nett for senior citizens (60 and above) and children (4 – 11 years old). There will be special discounts for early bookings before April 30, 2018. From 1st to 7th Ramadan, RM73.50 and 8th to 29th Ramadan the price will be RM95 nett for 9 people and below, and RM90 nett for 10 people and above. Full payment is needed upon bookings.

To end the memorable night, diners will also get to enjoy recitation of the Quran and our Imam will lead the maghrib prayer and solat tarawih at our Musolla. As usual, GBWHSA will conduct a charity project for orphans during this holy month.
