Students guided by principles of ‘EXCITE’

-

“As we are associated with several hospitals in the region, students have the advantage of learning from three hospitals in Malaysia (Subang Jaya Medical Centre, Ara Damansara Medical Centre and Parkcity Medical Centre), as well as the opportunity for attachments with Ramsay Sime Darby Healthcare hospitals in Australia and Indonesia.”

As part of the Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care group, students will be guided by the principles of EXCITE values, which are: EXcel in everything we do; Care and compassion from the heart; Innovate for continual improvement; Teamwork and respect for one another; and, Ethical in our practice.

Wong said looking ahead, there will be shortage of healthcare personnel in most of the healthcare disciplines.

“Ramsay Sime Darby Healthcare College aims to provide as many healthcare personnel as possible to meet the demand of healthcare institutions.

“Thus, we are engaged with these healthcare institutions to provide sponsorship to students who are in need of financial assistance.

“The win-win arrangement will enable underprivilege candidates to obtain professional qualifications, and at the same time, assist healthcare institutions to retain adequate healthcare personnel in the respective organisation,” she said.

The college also offers IELTS and MUET preparatory courses for students who wish to achieve the required band before enrolling into any university.
