THE Saujana Hotel Kuala Lumpur welcomes Ramadan 2018 with an array of Iftar offerings during the holy month. The hotel invites guests to share the ceremonial breaking of the fast with loved ones in a relaxed, family-friendly setting all-day-dining restaurant, Charcoal.

Charcoal boasts over 180 mouth-watering specialtie­s from Malay, Indian, Chinese, Indonesia, Italian, Japanese, Middle East and many more other cuisines.

The Sup Gear Box will make a warm and fragrant start to Iftar, followed by locally inspired delights such as Kambing Golek, Rendang Ayam Semarang, Gulai Ikan Merah Lemak Cili Padi with Petai and Peria Katak, Itik Kukus Rendang Cili Padi, Sotong Goreng Asam Kunyit, Daging Dendeng, Gulai Ayam with Nangka Muda and Kerisik, and Asam Pedas Tulang Rusuk.

Seafood connoisseu­r can savour in this year’s new addition, Seafood-on-ice with Poached Tiger Prawns, Flower Crabs and New Zealand Mussels. Aside from that, we have Baked Fresh Oysters with Orange Cheddar Cheese and Creamed Spinach.

Charcoal’s flaming revolution has inspired a new creation from the grill this year, Char-grilled Yong Tau Foo, assorted vegetables and bean curd stuffed with fish paste served in broth or sweet and spicy sauce. Another exciting introducti­on is Air Nyior Muda, refreshing whole chilled young coconut water.

Watch the chefs create dishes at live cooking stations, using the freshest ingredient­s, for a dining experience that engages all your senses and satisfies the appetite.

On top of that, there will be old time favourite, the Goreng-Goreng stall, not forgetting the greens, Ulam-ulaman, six types of Jeruk, wholesome Bubur Lambuk and sweet delights such as Turkish Ice Cream, Malay Kuih, Bubur Pulut Durian, Ice Kacang with Durian Paste and some western desserts such as Sachertort­e, Black Forest Cake, followed by Buah-buahan Tempatan and a Kopitiam stall.

For group of 40 or more, the ballroom can be transforme­d into a KampungKu atmosphere with special Batik runners and tiebacks filled with Pelita and Ketupat decoration, priced at RM165 nett per adult.
