MEDIA Prima Radio Networks (MPRN), which is known for its four radio brands — Fly FM, Hot FM, One FM and Kool FM — and podcast brand Ais Kacang, has ventured into the e-commerce business with the launch of the SuperDeals site.

In a statement, MPRN said SuperDeals was a new voucherfocused e-commerce platform with plenty of attractive deals for products ranging from food and beverages to beauty products, travel services and activities that will give consumers maximum savings.

Looking to spark a “virtual stampede” of consumers, SuperDeals will be Malaysia’s first e-commerce platform to provide a trilingual website and customer services.

Live chat, phone call and email services are available in three languages — English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese — to establish a personal connection with consumers when they reach for any inquiries.

Another unique feature available on SuperDeals is that notifications to redeem vouchers before the expiry date will be sent to consumers.

MPRN chief executive officer Seelan Paul said the company was taking an exciting step to build consumer revenue through SuperDeals, the first e-commerce brand in the region by a radio station.

“MPRN has always actively innovated our business propositions and have grown both our traditional and digital revenue over the years.

“We strongly believe that with our reach on traditional and digital platforms, we will be able to market this heavily and create interest among consumers,” he said.

Paul said the company was able to reach almost five million radio listeners on a weekly basis and could market its offerings to almost 10 million people online.

“We are also working closely with a global technology platform to ensure a great consumer experience on the site. We are confident of building our share of the pie in the ever-growing e-commerce industry in Malaysia,” he said.

Consumers can access SuperDeals at superdeals.com.my. For those interested in listing their products or services, they may instead log on to superdeals.com.my/merchant for further details.
