-

The Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) presents the Selera Ramadan buffet with more than 300 varieties of delicacies and dishes, featuring 24 different food stalls with the concept of a night market, for the month of Ramadan. From May 17 – June 13 at Ruang Legar PWTC, the Selera Ramadan buffet is priced at RM88 nett for adults, RM75 nett for seniors aged 60 years and above, and RM45 nett for children aged 7-12 years old.

As Muslims often crave for a variety of simple dishes available at the bazaar or night markets during fasting month, PWTC takes the opportunity to offer special night market menus within the comforts of a fully air-conditioned environment.

In fact, PWTC also incorporated the elements of a night market into the stall decorations that includes the attire of the waiters and chefs, as well as food presentation. Indulge and be entertained by the exciting music and singing by the Picha-Picha Band featuring Linda Eva while breaking your fast.

The night market menus offered at the 24 food stalls includes apam balik, char kuey teow, putu piring, nasi kerabu, nasi dagang, burger, roti John, a variety of Malay kuih, roti canai and murtabak, banana fritters, jackfruit fritters, keropok lekor, cucur udang, cucur pisang, sate, yong tauhu, cakoi, taufu bakar, rojak and rojak buah as well as sugarcane juice and “air mata kucing”.

In addition to the night market menu, the culinary maestros of PWTC led by Executive Chef, Suzaini Mohamed Salih, are also serving an extensive spread of Malay traditional dishes.

Customers can also truly enjoy the buffet as they can perform Maghrib, Isyak and Tarawih prayers together, led by the Imam at Surau Ar Rahman, located at Level 3, PWTC. Necessities such as telekung and prayer mats are also provided. PWTC also caters for private and corporate breaking fast functions at the Banquet Hall priced at RM98 nett per person with a minimum booking of 100 persons and RM115 per person with a minimum booking of 50 persons. This private and corporate package includes buffet spread, private function room, audio system, private prayer room and RM5 flat parking rate for single entry starting from 6 pm.

The management of PWTC is also committed to organising charity work throughout the holy month of Ramadan, including sponsoring packed food for the poor and needy around Selangor and Kuala Lumpur.

PWTC, in collaboration with Yayasan Kasih Tauhid, also distributes packed food for breaking of fast to the poor and needy under the Program Sentuhan Kasih Ramadan. Apart from that, PWTC also organises the Mari Beramal di Bulan Ramadan programme by visiting and donating food and cash to selected old folks’ homes and orphanages around Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
