New laptops and desktops from Acer
ACER announced six new product families at the Acer Global Press Conference New York 2018 recently.
The products include a 15-inch Swift 5 notebook, Nitro Series desktops and monitors, Predator Helios 500 notebook, Predator Orion 5000 gaming desktops, Chromebook Spin 15, and Chromebook Spin 13.
The new Swift 5 comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS touchscreen that features ultranarrow bezels measuring just 5.87 mm, giving it an incredible 87.6 percent screen-to-body ratio that maximises the viewing experience. i ntrTo oduced satisfy the the Nitro gaming Series community, gaming desktop Acer PCs and monitors, which are designed for outstanding casual gameplay at affordable prices.
The Nitro 50 Series Desktop is powered by up to 8th Gen Intel CoreTM i7 processors and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 GPUs, delivering 4K resolution visuals with support up to four displays simultaneously for immersive gameplay.
The Nitro VG0 and RG0 Series monitors boast AMD Radeon FreeSync to deliver a blazing fast response time of up to 1ms VisResponse ual Boost (VRB) and up to 144 Hz refresh rate.
Meanwhile, the Predator Helios 500 gaming laptop, powered by overclockable 8th Gen Intel Core i9+ processors with overclockable NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics, will serve the needs of gamers who want power machine on the go.
Within the Predator family is the Predator Helios 300 Special Edition, which features a 15.6-inch FHD IPS display with an upgraded 144 Hz refresh rate, 8th Gen Intel Core i7+ processor and overclockable NVIDIA GeForce1060 graphics.
The Predator Orion 5000 gaming desktops feature up to 8th Gen Intel Core i7+ 8700K processors with the latest Intel Z370 chipset, and up to 2-way NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti GPUs in SLI.
The smaller brother, the Predator Orion 3000, has up to 8th Gen Intel Core i7+ processors.
Acer also announced two new Chromebooks, which are the Chromebook Spin 15 and Chromebook Spin 13. The Chromebook Spin 15 is industry’s first convertible Chromebook with a 15.6-inch large touchscreen display and features a long 14-hour battery.
Meanwhile, the Chromebook Spin 13 includes a Wacom EMR stylus for unsurpassed accuracy and a natural writing experience.
