IN conjunction with Syawal celebrations, video streaming service tonton has a special festive campaign #rayaMacamVIP currently running till June 30. One of the highlights is the launch of its latest mascot characters, Mimi and Zozo. “In parallel with the evolution of tonton’s brand and solid support from our 8.1 million registered users, we are continuously working to make a difference through the diversity of our content in an effort to strengthen tonton as Malaysia’s number one streaming platform,” said Airin Zainul, Director of tonton, Licensing and Merchandising Television Network Media Prima Berhad.
“Mimi and Zozo definitely represent tonton’s fun and vibrant brand essence.”
She added that a full animation series, centred on the lives of Mimi and Zozo, was in the process of being made and is expected to air by year-end.
MEET THE CATS
The two characters are a combination of cheerful, cheeky and easy-going, in line with tonton’s aim to incorporate elements of fun and joy.
Mimi is the female cat who was born and bred in the city. She loves playing dress up and looking good. In her free time, this cutie loves watching romantic drama series and re-enacts her favourite scenes in front of the mirror.
Zozo, meanwhile, is the male cat from the countryside. Born with a high level of curiosity, he loves to be active and is keen to explore the world around him. His favourite pastime activities include listening to music and rolling around.
