The youngsters dined on dishes such as Nasi Arab, BBQ lamb with mint sauce, Sup Tulang Rawan, Daging Dendeng, Ikan Patin Masak Tempoyak, Udang Masak Lemak Cili Api and other mouth-watering delicacies. After dinner, the children were assisted by the management team to heap up on ice creams, Sago Gula Melaka, Serawa Durian and more.

During dinner, the children were entertained with lively games coordinated by the Hotel management to put a smile on their faces. Gifts were awarded to the smart champions and groups during the quizzes, balloon-popping quests and the lively game of sorting out colourful chocolate beans. The event concluded with the distribution of duit raya and goodie bags, courtesy of the staff members of Royale Chulan Bukit Bintang led by general manager Mashor Din and director of human resources Major Azlan Merican.

Charity indeed begins at home.

The hotel would like to extend its warmest thanks to the caretakers of Rumah Anak Yatim Shifa for accepting its invitation for a memorable Ramadan evening for all.

Mashor Din announced during his welcome speech to the children, “Throughout the Ramadan month and for the rest of the year, Royale Chulan Bukit Bintang has organised a Charity Donation Drive on behalf of Rumah Anak Yatim Shifa titled Kasih Ramadan. Guests and staff members may donate a minimum of RM10 and, in return, they receive a “Ketupat Card” to be hung at the Charity Tree at the hotel’s lobby.

“Donors will also receive a packet of delicious house-baked cookies as the hotel’s token of appreciation. Proceeds from this donation drive will be awarded to Rumah Anak Yatim Shifa later this year. I invite everyone to chip in for this good cause. Together, we can collect a huge sum for the benefit of the children of Rumah Anak Yatim Shifa and be blessed in return for our generosity.”
