‘BEST PLACE TO GET PROPERTY INFO’

It’s not just an exhibition to sell houses, but to help people find their dream home without hassle

- M. HIFZUDDIN IKHSAN

THE MyRumah property showcase at Amanjaya Mall here from July 6 to 8 is expected to attract 10,000 visitors from Kedah, Penang and northern Perak. New Straits Times Press (NSTP) advertising general manager Roche Chew said the exhibition was the best platform for property investors and those who want to purchase their first home to get information on market trends.

He said, apart from the participation of six well-known northern region property developers, visitors could also attend seminars, where six experts would be giving their views on how to choose the most suitable property.

“After the success of the first MyRumah exhibition in Shah Alam, Selangor, we are bringing the exhibition exclusively to Sungai Petani to give the opportunity to people in northern states to find their dream home.

“This is not just an event to sell houses, as we also have representatives from banks and insurance companies to help visitors check their financial eligibility. In doing so, we can speed up the purchasing process.”

Among the developers, banks and insurance companies were Hunza Properties, Sepakat Mewah, SPNB Aspirasi, Plenitude Heights, OSK Properties, Uda Land, Bank Muamalat, Amanah Raya and Takaful Ikhlas.

Chew said MyRumah, which is organised by Media Prima Bhd, had its own uniqueness compared with other property showcases. It uses an educational concept in providing tips and advice from experts, which gives visitors a holistic view of the property sector.

“We are offering a variety of the latest homes north of the peninsula, including those who want to purchase their first home, and are still looking for the most suitable one. Visitors also stand a chance to win lucky draw prizes, while special souvenirs await those who succeed in getting special stamps from all the exhibitors’ booths.”

As an integrated platform for housebuyers and property investors, MyRumah 2018, which is running in its third year, is offering a variety of homes worth RM1 billion.
