MELAKA: Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) is leaving it to Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad to determine the cabinet line-up, which includes members from the party.

Its president, Mohamad Sabu, said the party had handed over 20 names to Dr Mahathir for his consideration for the cabinet posts and hoped the list would meet the government’s requirements.

“The swearing-in ceremony is expected to take place on Monday (tomorrow), so I can’t comment on the matter as there might be some last-minute changes.

“If all the parties are dissatisfied, it shows a fair selection. If one party is satisfied but the others are not, it shows there is a shortcoming,” he said at the national-level Amanah open house at Dewan Tun Ali in Bukit Katil here yesterday.
