RM2.2 BILLION PROJECT TO BE NEW KL LANDMARK
Agile’s project an alliance of top developers from Malaysia, China
AGILE Bukit Bintang, a freehold mixed residential project located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, was launched yesterday.
The launch of the project followed the excellent sales performance of Agile Mont Kiara project, which had recorded a takeup rate of 90 per cent.
Agile Bukit Bintang covers a 1.5ha plot of land with a gross development value (GDV) of RM 2.2 billion.
The development is a joint venture between Agile Group and Tropicana Corporation Bhd.
Agile Malaysia chief executive officer Chai Keng Wai said Agile Bukit Bintang showed a strong alliance of top developers from Malaysia and China.
“This joint venture is a great partnership. We are proud to bring you another project from us.
“We invested more than RM3.4 billion for both projects and we aim to reach RM12.6 billion in the next three years.
“In the near future, we would love to branch out Penang and Selangor,” he said.
Tropicana Corporation Bhd managing director Ngian Siew Siong said the launching ceremony was to celebrate the “prestigious new landmark” of Kuala Lumpur.
“Today we celebrate the successful collaboration of Tropicana with Agile Malaysia where we reached this great milestone.
“We have shared each others’ strength and expertise to make this possible.
“This collaboration also marks our future joint ventures.
“With the bold and cuttingedge properties in Kuala Lumpur, we are confident that this (project) will be one of the exclusive properties in Bukit Bintang.”
Within three weeks upon obtaining the Advertising Permit and Developer Licence, Agile Bukit Bintang has released 300 units prior to the launch and more than 50 per cent were sold.
This project is a mix development comprising three residential towers with 1501 units, 66 small office virtual office (sovo) units and 14 commercial lots.
Agile Bukit Bintang has launched Tower B, which is the first phase of the project.
The 60-storey building comprises 21 sovo units and 678 residential units, and it is one of the few 60-storey residential projects here.
The building’s 10th floor is designed with a “tropical rainforest” centred on the “Five Gardens” concept to create a wholesome lifestyle within a green environment.
Agile Bukit Bintang is located along Jalan Bukit Bintang, just a stone’s throw away from the Pavilion Shopping Mall and 300m away from the Royal Selangor Golf Club.
Upon the completion of Agile Bukit Bintang by December 2022, it us set to be a new landmark in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
