120 homes at affordable prices

SUNGAI PETANI: OSK Properties Sdn Bhd is offering 120 units of affordable homes with prices starting from RM45,000 at the three-day MyRumah 2018 property expo in Amanjaya Mall here, which began on Friday.

The company’s senior sales consultant, Muhammad Tarmizi Omar, said the company planned to build 500 units of four-storey flats in Bandar Puteri Jaya.

“This developmen­t is the result of growing demand, especially from the younger generation, who want homes that cost RM100,000 and below.

“For this exhibition, we are offering 120 homes for the first phase. About 60 people have already registered their interest,” he said.

Tarmizi said the homes, with a built-up area of 650 sq ft, have three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

This marks OSK Properties’ second participat­ion in the MyRumah expo, after MyRumah 2017 in Aman Central, Alor Star.

The firm is also offering other properties, such as single-storey and double-storey semi-detached homes, as well as bungalows, priced between RM360,000 and RM848,000.

Meanwhile, UDA Land (North) Sdn Bhd is giving rebates of between RM80,000 and RM100,000 for its semi-detached and bungalow homes in Bertam, Penang, with prices ranging from RM865,200 to RM2.2 million.

Its marketing executive, Noriza Mohd Hashim, said a rebate of 10 per cent plus four per cent was also offered to the first 100 buyers of their latest offering, which saw 300, 35-floor condominiu­m units in Permatang Pauh.

“The prices of the condominiu­m units start at RM494,000, with a built-up area of 1,100 sq ft. We will also bear the legal fees as well as fees pertaining to loans and ownership exchange.”

The MyRumah expo, organised by The New Straits Times Press (M) Bhd, is open from 10am to 10pm.
