632 entries for logo contest
PUTRAJAYA: The Communications and Multimedia Ministry has received 632 entries for the Sayangi Malaysiaku (Love My Malaysia) logo contest, in conjunction with this year’s National Day and Malaysia Day celebrations.
The ministry said the competition, which began on June 7 and ended yesterday, attracted entries from Malaysians from all walks of life.
“The oldest participant is an 84-year-old, while the youngest is a 15-year-old student.
“Five people with disabilities submitted entries,” it said, adding that 46 entries were hand-painted logo designs.
Ten logo designs will be shortlisted by a panel of judges before being presented to the cabinet.
The designs will be selected based on creativity, originality and the “wow factor”.
