Kenanga Investors win 2 unit trust awards

-

KUALA LUMPUR: Kenanga Investors Group has clinched two awards at the 2018/2019 Fundsupermart.com Recommended Unit Trusts Awards.

Its flagship fund, Kenanga Growth Fund (KGF), was named the recommended fund under the Core Equity - Malaysia category, while its Kenanga Balanced Fund (KBF) won the Balanced - Malaysia category.

Kenanga Investors chief investment officer Lee Sook Yee credits the wins to its long-standing investment philosophy of bottomup stock picking and a strict focus on undervalued stocks with strong fundamentals.

“We conduct rigorous research to understand any given industry and the individual companies within that industry, which has given us a strong competitive advantage against our peers,” she said yesterday.

“This is KGF’s ninth consecutive win. With KBF’s inaugural win, this goes to show that Kenanga Investors continues to manage a range of award-winning funds that are delivering consistent top performance for our investors,” said Kenanga Investors Ismitz chief executive officer Matthew De Alwis.
