NAZA KIA LAUNCHES STINGER
High-performance vehicle a ‘culmination of years of passion and commitment’
NAZA Kia Malaysia Sdn Bhd, the local distributor of Kia vehicles, expects its newlylaunched Kia Stinger to help improve the company’s brand identity.
Datuk Samson Anand George, group chief executive officer of Naza Corp Holdings’ automotive group, said the high-performance vehicle was a “culmination of years of passion and commitment fuelled by the brand’s bold and adventurous spirit to amalgamate nimble performance and unyielding style”.
“Kia Stinger ushers in a new era of innovation for the South Korean brand while preserving its DNA to deliver the best performance, comfort and features,” said Samson at the launch last night.
“With that, we believe that Kia Stinger will elevate the brand’s identity and will be a revolutionary benchmark for the future of Kia vehicles.”
To meet customer demands in Malaysia, the company is introducing two variants of the Stinger — both sport sedans — that exude disarming confidence, elegance and athleticism.
The Stinger is powered by either the 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6 Lambda T-GDi engine or the 2.0litre twin-scroll turbocharged four-cylinder Theta II T-GDi engine, paired with the Shift-ByWire eight-speed automatic transmission.
There are four exterior colour options — HiChroma Red, Deep Chroma Blue, Panthera Metal and Aurora Black.
As for the interior, the 3.3-litre V6 GT has received a “red” package, while the 2.0-lite GTline comes in a flush black onetone.
The three-litre V6 GT variant sells for RM309,888 on-the-road (without insurance) while the 2.0litre GT-Line goes for RM239,888.
