Focus on entrepreneurship, education and community
SEVENTY participants of the ILTIZAM Professional Development Programme 2017 were celebrated at a recent ceremony after they successfully completed their one-year training under Ekuiti Nasional Bhd (Ekuinas) and its strategic partner companies.
Ekuinas Stakeholder Interests director Hizwani Hassan said the programme has benefited 281 participants, especially in addressing career challenges and current employer’s needs.
He hoped more graduates from all over the country, including Sabah and Sarawak, will take the opportunity to join the next intake. Online applications are open early next month until the end of September.
“The course can boost confidence, espe- cially in effective communication, as well as enable participants to produce new ideas for their potential employers,” he told the media at the graduation ceremony in Tuanku Bainun Children’s Creative Center, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur.
Also present was Ekuinas chief executive officer Syed Yasir Arafat Syed Abd Kadir.
The course focuses on three key pillars — entrepreneurship, education and community — with implementation of programmes focusing on helping people in need and ensuring a more sustainable future.
Participant Syamimi Ab Manaf, 27, from Kuala Terengganu said she boosted her selfconfidence and enhanced her soft skills.
The Bachelor of Economics graduate from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu said nothing is impossible if one is determined.
