Community service centre to be set up if PKR wins

-

SHAH ALAM: PKR candidate for the Sungai Kandis by-election Mohd Zawawi Ahmad Mughni has pledged his full commitment to relaying the aspirations of constituents to the state government if he is elected.

This includes setting up a new community service centre as a main platform to connect him with the constituency.

Zawawi said he was ready to shoulder the responsibility and duties of an assemblyman if he won the by-election.

“All the pledges and missions I have stated throughout my campaign will be carried out to the best of my ability.

“As soon as I am given the mandate, I will set up a community service centre to facilitate better communications with constituents here.

“They can still contact me through various platforms to obtain help.

“I will entertain all requests without taking sides,” Zawawi told a press conference in Jalan Bukit Kemuning here yesterday.

He reiterated that he believed he could win a 10,000-vote majority in the by-election.

“The majority may be lower compared with the 12,000 votemajority gained in the 14th General Election.

“I predict that the voter turnout may be only about 75 per cent due to factors, such as outside voters (not returning) and those who are complying with orders from their political parties (not to vote).

“Nevertheless, I am pleased with the level of support shown by voters,” Zawawi said.
