Young homebuyers thankful for the tips

JOHOR BARU: The MyRumah 2018 property showcase organised by the New Straits Times Press (M) Bhd (NSTP) at Komtar JBCC proved to be a big hit among young housebuyer­s.

Many who attended the talks during the three-day exhibition expressed satisfacti­on at the extensive coverage of property topics by the experts.

They were also thankful for the knowledge and tips given.

Businessma­n Mohd Imran Ayub, 31, who attended the exhibition for all three days, was willing to do it again to gain more informatio­n from the talks by experts.

He said the sessions should be attended by all homebuyers since they were conducted for free.

“From the first day of the exhibition until today, I have gained a lot of knowledge from all the sessions. This has equipped me well if I decide to purchase or invest in a property.

“For instance, today, I gained a lot of knowledge on the things to prepare before purchasing a property,” he said.

Security officer Mustaqim Mofty, 30, said the exhibition was a great initiative, especially for youths intending to purchase a property.

“This should be continued every year and expanded to other places to give more opportunit­ies and space for youths to gain informatio­n before owning a property.”

The event, which was held here for the third consecutiv­e time, was participat­ed by seven developers and four non-property companies with more than 500 properties on offer.

The seven developers were Pulai Springs Resort Bhd, Bukit Pelali, Eco Tropics Sdn Bhd, Uda Land, Johor Land Bhd, Hua Yang Bhd and Sunway Iskandar Sdn Bhd.

The non-property exhibitors were Amanah Raya Bhd, Bank Muamalat, National Higher Education Fund Corporatio­n and Takaful Ikhlas Bhd.
