LEXUS Malaysia recently hosted the 12th edition of its prestigious Golf Invitational that saw the participation of Lexus owners in a three-part tournament.

After three individual rounds at Palm Garden Golf Club, Tropicana Golf & Country Resort and Kota Permai Golf and Country Clu,b here, the Lexus Golf Invitational 2018 culminated in riveting game plays and Teo Loong Chua and June Yap emerging as champions.

“We are delighted with the relationships we built through our annual Lexus Golf Invitational but we are more proud to see returning players up their games year after year, as we are confident that it is the competitive spirit that drives us to progress.

“At Lexus, we truly believe that we are the master driver in all that we do and we compete healthily to offer our best vehicles and services to our discerning drivers,” said Lexus Malaysia president Ravindran K.

He added that the spirit of golf demonstrated the very concept of sportsmanship and reflected the soul of Lexus, where one was driven to challenge oneself but never forgetting the guiding principles and spirit of “omotenashi” in all its dealings.

First held in 2007, the Golf Invitational is an exclusive way to connect with Lexus drivers and it has become an annual affair of sportsmanship widely anticipated by fans.

The Lexus Golf Invitational has evolved over the years, from be- ing a platform for building camaraderie into one that offers the opportunity to showcase golfing skills.

The Ladies Professional Golf Association golfers Michelle Koh and Michele Low were invited to host an exclusive golf clinic for amateurs.

The clinic turned up a notch when each participant was given the opportunity to see how they fare when playing a hole against the experts at the “Beat The Pro Challenge”.
