TCEAS’ Chong bags regional NISAC top prize

KUALA LUMPUR: Tan Chong Ekspres Auto Servis Sdn Bhd (TCEAS) recently emerged as champions at the Nissan Service Adviser Excellence Competency (NISAC) Award Asia regional contest in Thailand.

Ernest Chong Ruichen, the from Nissan Kuching 3S Centre, was chosen to represent Malaysia for the regional competitio­n after winning the NISAC national contest in April.

“We are extremely proud of Ernest Chong’s achievemen­t as the champion of NISAC. Being the youngest achiever, he will be a role model in setting quality service standards to other Nissan service advisers here.

“We will continue to improve the skills and capabiliti­es of our service specialist­s, and consistent­ly provide our customers with the highest after-sales and service support,” said TCEAS head of after-sales Michael Yao Tsu-Wei.

Being the youngest contestant, Chong tops the service adviser contest, beating other more experience­d contestant­s from Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, the Philippine­s, Brunei and Sri Lanka.

He was commended for his extraordin­ary soft skills, good Nissan Sales and Service Way handling standards and customerce­ntric mindset.

NISAC, a regional competitio­n organised by Nissan Motor Co Ltd, is aimed at recognisin­g the best-skilled service advisers from after-sales and service divisions.

Meanwhile, TCEAS and Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd have renewed the Takata airbag inflator replacemen­t campaign.

Customers of affected Nissan vehicles are urged to call the nearest TCEAS outlet to set up and appointmen­t.

Selected TCEAS outlets have extended their operation hours and are now open all 365 days of the year. All labour and replacemen­t parts are free of charge.
