Beautiful Bazzi

BAZZI is fast becoming a rising star in the music scene. You may have heard his single, Mine, which is another noteworthy track. In the past year, the 20-year-old American singer-songwriter has gained quite a huge amount of fan base and he also did a tour with Justin Timberlake and Camilla Cabello.

In his latest single, he teamed up with the multi-platinum chart topper Camilla for the Beautiful track.

Co-written by both of them, according to Bazzi, the tune was merely something he decided to whip out one day just because he wanted to post something on Instagram.

“I went to the studio and I freestyled Beautiful in like an hour and a half, and I threw it up and people were like, ‘This song’s gonna change your life.’,” he told MTV. And true enough, it did and also because he found the song the perfect companion in Camilla. Upon my first listen, the track hits all the right notes. It’s super laid back and Camilla’s voice really did make a difference to the overall listening experience.

“Hey, Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful angel; Love your imperfections every angle; Tomorrow comes and goes before you know; So I just had to let you know”, Bazzi churns in the chorus. It’s a simple song with a simple meaning, yet sung so beautifully. As to how the collaboration came about, Camilla shared that she heard the song when Bazzi opened for her Never Be The Same tour and she came across both Mine and Beautiful.

She said: “I fell more and more in love with it hearing it backstage every night, and a couple weeks ago on a day off from shows in Kentucky; I went to a studio there and wrote a verse to the song. It’s one of my favourite songs out right now. I hope people love it as much as I do”.
