In a statement yesterday, Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) said the new prices for VW vehicles were lower after the SST implementation, except for CBU models, compared with the GST era.

“The Polo model is now priced at RM74,990, compared with RM76,888 during the GST era while Vento Comfortline is priced at RM84,690 from RM86,888.

It said the VPCM Price Scheme (PPS) was still applicable to all models registered before November 15 and while stocks last.

“Since the introduction of PPS, the demand for VW vehicles has increased.

“While we strive to meet the demand, stocks are limited and customers should seize this opportunity to make reservations as soon as possible,” said VPCM.
