DEVILISH ZIDANE PLOTS AHEAD

French legend puts together transfer wish list if he succeeds Mourinho as United manager

-

ZINEDINE Zidane has formed a list of transfer targets that he will put into action if he succeeds Jose Mourinho as Manchester United manager.

Mourinho has been under severe pressure at Old Trafford following an underwhelming start to the new Premier League season that saw him suffer two defeats in four games.

Those targets are said to include Real Madrid’s Toni Kroos, Thiago Alcantara of Bayern Munich, James Rodriguez — currently on loan at Bayern from Real Madrid — and Paris Saint-Germain forward Edinson Cavani.

Zidane ended his time at Real Madrid just days after securing a third-straight Champions League triumph against Liverpool in Kiev, and has been out of work since.

During his time at the Bernabeu, Zidane also managed to collect a La Liga winners medal in 2017 while also winning the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup twice each.

Zidane will be high on United’s wishlist for a new manager if they do give Mourinho the boot this season following their rocky start and lacklustre transfer window.

Mourinho is about to embark on a crucial period after the international break with a string of winnable Premier League games.

United also begin their Champions League campaign with matches against Swiss side Young Boys and La Liga outfit Valencia.
