PAKATAN Harapan candidate for the Port Dickson parliamentary byelection, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, refuses to entertain the latest sodomy slander thrown at him.

Umno Supreme Council member Datuk Lokman Nor Adam on Sunday, via his Facebook account, had quoted a viral post, allegedly from a Singapore portal, which reported a sodomy incident involving the “husband to the Malaysian deputy prime minister”.

The post claimed that an Indonesian student had lodged a police report in Singapore over the incident and that the person in question is Anwar.

The portal, however, denied it published the post, saying it was fake news.

The portal is reported to have asked Lokman to take down the post.

Lokman later posted the portal’s denial on his Facebook account.

On the controversial issue, which was seen as an attempt to thwart Anwar’s chances of a political comeback, the PKR president-elect said: “Enough is enough. Stop it. I have been slandered for the past 20 years.

“He (Lokman) should find other issues.”

PKR communications director Fahmi Fadzil confirmed that a police report on the issue had been lodged at the Port Dickson district police headquarters at 11am yesterday.

On whether he would proceed with legal action, Anwar said at the moment he would focus on the by-election.
