CYBERJAYA: Selangor Cyber Valley (SCV), the 11th new growth area being developed by Selangor State Development Corp (PKNS), is expected to be able to attract investments and businesses to the state.

PKNS chief operating officer Norita Mohd Sidek said based on the sustainable and smart green city concept, the 520ha SCV is strategically located, with mixed development encompassing residential units, an industrial park, a commercial centre and educational institutions.

“SCV is also equipped with a high-speed network of fibre optic cables, besides environmental detection devices to indicate the quality of air and other public amenities,” she said at the launch of the PKNS SCV Property Carnival, here, on Saturday.

Norita said to introduce the public to the new township, PKNS held the carnival which ended yesterday. “SCV is still unknown to many people despite various real estate projects by PKNS, including the Vega Residensi 1 and 2 condominiums,” she said, adding that Vega Residensi 1, which was launched last year, was now occupied.

SCV, formerly known as Taman Sains Selangor II, was launched by former menteri besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali in March last year.

For the Vega Residensi 2 project, Norita said PKNS was offering a 20 per cent discount to at the carnival. Each unit has three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

There are two different floor plans — 928 sq ft for an intermediate unit and 1,265 sq ft for an end unit.

Prices start from RM529,900 for 186 units (928 sq ft each) to RM776,200 for 50 units (1,265 sq ft each), with the project close to the commercial and shopping centre.
