Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur presents a taste of Vietnam with an array of irresistib­le delights renowned for its diverse blend of fresh ingredient­s, aromatic appeal and delicate balance of flavours. From Oct 19 to 24, the authentic Vietnamese buffet dinner is served at Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur’s all-day dining restaurant, Latest Recipe, featuring signature dishes by two guest chefs from Sheraton Hanoi Hotel, Vietnam.

Chef Le Manh Hung and Chef Nguyen Nam Nguyen have specially prepared three menus which will be on a rotation basis throughout the promotion period. With combined 15 years of industry experience, the famous chefs will treat guests to a gastronomi­c journey highlighti­ng their signature dishes.

No stranger to the internatio­nal culinary scene, Chef Le has been a guest chef at Dusit Thani Bangkok, The St Regis Shenzhen and Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu, while Chef Nguyen visited Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur last year.

Start the evening with a selection of appetizers, including Lotus and Roasted Shrimp Salad with Fresh Herbs, Chili and Lemongrass Marinated Seafood with Lime Dressing, Fresh Spring Rolls “Nem Cuon” with Poached Shrimps, and Vietnamese Pancake ‘Banh Xeo’. And, if you prefer poultry, opt for the Green Papaya Salad with Semi Dried Beef.

For the main course, don’t miss the crowd favourite and delicious Pho Beef/Chicken Noodle Soup, a staple meal for anyone who loves Vietnamese cuisine. Other musttry dishes include Lemongrass & Chilli Stir-Fried Beef Tenderloin or savour the traditiona­l Hanoi “Cha Ca” Style with Fresh Rice Noodles and Herbs, and for those who fancy crabs, do not miss the extra special Crispy Fried Soft Shell Crab with Tangy Tamarind Emulsion to satisfy your cravings for seafood.

End the meal on a sweet note with the following choices of traditiona­l Vietnamese desserts: Sticky Rice Dumpling in Green Bean Syrup, Coconut-Flavoured Vietnamese Caramel Custard and Chilled Sago in Sweet Coconut Flavoured with Vanilla, to name a few.
