The hotel 15th anniversary is all about the associates giving back to the society. Hence, Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur associates held an event on the Oct 18 in the ballroom where special guests from Kiwanis Down’s Syndrome Foundation and their guardians, along with the elderly from Rumah Charis and Rumah Victory were feted.

The celebration kick-started with a special performance by the children from Kiwanis Down’s Syndrome Foundation, followed by a speech from the general manager, Anthony O’Niell, and the founder of The Giving Bank, Dr Jason Ang. There was a cake-cutting ceremony to commemorate Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur’s anniversary.

A total of 300 guests lent their support to the event which also saw 96 children from the Kiwanis home and 45 senior citizens from Rumah Charis and Rumah Victory. Other guests were clients and hotel associates.

Guests were also wowed by a spectacular performance from upcoming singers Amelia and Winnie K. It was a meaningful and entertaining event as the crowd enjoyed themselves thoroughly.

We hope that our continuous contribution through our 15th Anniversary event to the Kiwanis Down’s Syndrome Foundation, Rumah Charis and Rumah Victory for the elderly will help to create more awareness among the public. It was a time to show the children and the seniors that there is still someone who will eventually remember to contribute by giving to their life. A great philosopher once said: “If you knew what I know about the power of giving, you would not let a single meal pass without sharing it in some way.”

Since Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur opened its doors to the public, it has retained its reputation on providing the finest facilities and services for guests who will always enjoy a warm, relaxed yet refined ambience.

Throughout the years, the hotel has won countless awards and recognitions, both international and local.
