On the first count, Rosmah was alleged to have solicited RM187.5 million through Datuk Rizal Mansor, 15 per cent of the value of a contract from Saidi Abang Samsudin, the managing director of Jepak Holdings Sdn Bhd.

The amount was allegedly solicited as an inducement to help the company secure a tender for a RM1.25 billion project through direct negotiation from the Education Ministry. The judge also allowed for the payment of bail to be made in instalments with RM500,000 to be paid yesterday and the rest of the amount to be settled in 10 days.
