Man found dead in car

PETALING JAYA: A man was found dead inside a car at Jalan PJU 1/39 in Dataran Prima here yesterday.

Damansara Fire and Rescue Department chief Ramli Harun said they received an emergency call at 6.16pm on Monday.

“Six firemen were deployed to the scene, where they found a man, in his 30s, lying in the driver’s seat of a Perodua Myvi,” he said yesterday.

Ramli said the firemen contacted the police and a medical team to determine whether the victim was alive.

“As soon as the police and ambulance arrived, the firemen pried open the door to check on the victim, who was confirmed dead by the medical team,” he said.

Police then sent the body for a post-mortem.
