Sabah police on the lookout for 3 men
KOTA KINABALU: Police are on the hunt for three individuals to help facilitate investigations into cases involving murder, rape, and unnatural sex here.
District police chief Assistant Commissioner Habibi Majinji said two of the suspects were locals while the other held a permanent resident status.
All three were between the ages 38 and 57.
“We are hunting for Sisal Benigno, 41, suspected to be involved in a murder case in February last year, which is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code,” he said yesterday.
“Police are also looking for Dainis Sitim, 38, for involvement in three offences of rape and carnal intercourse against the order of nature in July 2016. The cases are being investigated under Section 376, Section 376 (3) and Section 377 (C)(A) of the Penal Code.”
The third suspect, identified as Lajin Pilong, 57, was wanted to facilitate investigation under Section 377 (E) of the Penal Code for carnal intercourse against the order of nature. The offence took place in March 2017, he added.
Habibi urged the public to assist in providing information to police.
