IT’S always easy to assume every celebrity has it easy with private chefs, personal trainers and even on-call glam squads at their fingertips, but you’d be surprised to know that there are some famous people who are willing and are capable of doing their own make-up.

Not only are they talented and beautiful but they can double as undercover beauty pros too!

Here is a roundup of popular celebritie­s who often ditch the glam squad.

1. BLAKE LIVELY

This actress gives women all the more reasons to adore her because on top of being a talented actress who has impeccable style, she often does her own makeup for events.

In an article, Blake said she learnt all of her skills when working with make-up artists and hairstylis­ts while on set.

“I like doing my own make-up and hair for events. I think it’s fun. luckily through photo shoots, I get to work with so many amazing hair and make-up artists. That’s my version of YouTube.”

2. MiRanDa KERR

This former Victoria’s Secret angel needs no make-up to look like an angel, but you can’t separate a girl from make-up.

When she married Snapchat billionair­e Evan Speigel in 2017, she did her own bridal beauty look! She kept things simple with rosy cheeks and a soft eye look.

3. SCaRLEtt JOHanSSOn

Unless she has a major event to attend to, the Lucy actress prefers to doll herself up.

In fact, she even shared a beauty tip to achieve her signature red lip.

The actress recommends applying concealer to the lips to create a neutral base before colouring in the whole lip with lip pencil.

She once joked that if her career as an actress didn’t go as planned, she would’ve chosen the path of becoming a make-up artist, because she’s that good at it.

“I used to joke that if I didn’t make it as an actress, or if it didn’t work out, at least that was my backup,” she said in beauty article.

Who would have thought that the Queen Bey often does her own make-up for events? Well, her love for make-up goes way back as she started to play around with her mother’s beauty essentials when she was just six.

The star of One Tree Hill has been known to do her own make-up, so much so that she can get herself all dolled up in five minutes!

According to People magazine, Sophia said that she does her own make-up 98 per cent of the time.

“Honestly I don’t like to spend that long. I always joke that I have a five-minute face routine. It’s really fast, I have a couple of things I like and that’s it. I own a tonne of makeup and if it’s a red carpet event I can do a full-on look, I think it’s fun.

“But my day to day is super simple. I just feel comfortabl­e that way. I’m a tinted moisturise­r kind of person; I may put two drops of foundation in if I’m feeling like I want a little more coverage. I like a cream brush and an eyebrow gel and mascara and I’m out the door,”

8. EMMy ROSSUM

The actress who stars in the latest action thriller Cold Pursuit does call on the glam squad for big events, but she’s got some DIY make-up skills up her sleeves too.

According to Glamour, Emmy shared that she too spends time on YouTube tutorials to sharpen her make-up skills.

“I feel like I learned it from YouTube tutorials. Just trial and error,” she told the magazine. “I would sit at home and google ‘How-to do smoky eye.’ And try it and it would be a disaster, and I’d be like, ‘Why do I have sparkles on my nose?”
