365 ZEDD FT. KATY PERRY

IT’S Zedd and Katy Perry’s first collaboration and I’m loving it.

365 is a rather hypnotic love song accompanied by a sci-fi music video to which Katy nails it!

It features robot Katy as Zedd’s AI partner in a year-long science research. The story intensifies and can easily do well as a standalone video.

How did this song even come about? Well, according to Zedd, “Katy and I have known each other for a while now and while on tour together in Australia last summer, we started working on some music,” he explained.

“After we got off tour and with our musical value systems even more aligned we continued working together and that’s when 365 started to take shape. As it all came together, we knew we had something special.” Indeed!

While the song isn’t a straight up banger, its chorus gets catchier as you listen on. It wasn’t a love at first play for me but the song does grow on you.

I would recommend watching the music video first so you’ll get a good idea of the song’s concept.

“Waking up next to you in the middle of the week. Never needed anyone to send me off to sleep. And I know I said go slow, but I can’t hold back no more,” Katy sings in a sultry tone.

The music video has more than 15 million views and counting and it is definitely worth a watch. Not a bad song, but the video takes the cake.
