Large turnout at Hot FM Big Jam
THE recent Hot FM Big Jam attracted about 40,000 people, who came from around the country, for the 12-hour celebration.
Held at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (Maeps) in Seri Kembangan last Saturday, the non-stop carnival was presented by radio station Hot FM with the support of Malaysian Riders 2019 and the Malaysian Inbound Tourism Association.
Back after a seven-year hiatus, the Hot FM Big Jam began at noon and featured a star-studded list of performing artistes, including Hujan, Kugiran Masdo, Wany Hasrita, Syamel Fodzly, Xpose, Aiman Tino, One Avenue Band, Nabila Razali, Ippo Hafiz and the Caliph Buskers who entertained in the afternoon, and Hazama, Siti Sarah Raissuddin, Neon, Ayda Jebat, Hael Husaini, Dayang Nurfaizah, Ara Johari and Faizal Tahir who performed late in the evening.
Hot FM’s popular radio announcers Shuib, Shuk, Fizie, El, Deen, Haziq, Zetty and Sarancak also met and greeted fans.
Media Prima digital platform Ripple’s Malay audience head Nik Nor Azura Nik Mahmood said: “Big Jam is as popular as ever. Many Malaysians who came for its earlier editions are back with full force, this time with their loved ones. It’s a celebration enjoyed by fans of all ages.”
She said that Hot FM did not set any target for the number of visitors, but was delighted that many of its “old friends” joined in the fun.
“We want to thank all of our fans for their continued support of Hot FM and its Big Jam.”
