IN the month of Ramadan, Hilton Hotels in Malaysia would like to invite guests to dine with Jom Makan at Hilton - a special celebration of food and culture inspired by Ramadan’s true spirit of giving and sharing. Bringing back last year’s successful “Jom Makan” theme, Hilton encourages guests to dine together as the sun sets while relishing the companionship of many.

Hence the theme “Jom Makan”, a local lingo that is affectionately embraced by Malaysians. It is a joyful merriment of good food, get-together and a time to celebrate with loved ones.
Throughout the fasting month, Hilton Kuala Lumpur will highlight a wide spread of Malaysian cuisine. With more than 300 dishes served, diners are spoilt for choice. Hilton Kuala Lumpur’s Vasco’s will portray a unique theme that showcases the very best of Malaysia’s royal feast.

The Buka Puasa Buffet Dinner will run from May 5 to June 4, from 6pm to 10.30pm. The prices for adult is RM188 nett, while children is at RM100 nett (aged 6 to 11 years only).

There will be a silat performance for guests on every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Silat, a Malay art of selfdefence, has many forms, styles or branches and is a series of movements in which two dancers demonstrate how to defend themselves. The dancers will be decked in traditional attire for the performance, while diners enjoy their royal feast. Guests will also walk away with a one-of-a-kind door gift — a miniature Tengkolok. Traditional Malay music will be performed from Monday to Saturday as well.

This year throughout the fasting month, Hilton Petaling Jaya will highlight a widespread of all-time favourite Malaysian cuisine. With more than 350 authentic dishes served, diners are spoilt for choice. Hilton Petaling Jaya, the iconic hotel in Petaling Jaya, will portray a unique theme that showcases a journey of Paya Serai, the all-day dining restaurant’s 35 years of nostalgia.
As part of the Ramadan promotion, Hilton Petaling Jaya is partnering with the Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA) for its “Eat More Local Fruits” campaign, which aims to introduce quality local fruits. Diners will have an array of the freshest, highest quality fruits and can expect the king of fruits, the durian.
Buka Puasa at the iconic Paya Serai Restaurant with this year’s theme “Sajian Warisan Paya
Serai”, which will take diners down memory lane on a journey through 35 years of Iftar at Paya Serai.
Diners can expect a sumptuous display of all-time favourites served through the years during Ramadan, such as classic kampung dishes, Arabian delights, and secret recipes and dishes inspired by the chef’s mom, to the recent modern Ramadan on wheels, a well-received food truck concept.
