OWG: Expanded BSC Jungle Gym to be launch soon
Only World Group Holdings Bhd (OWG) is set to launch its expanded and renovated Jungle Gym, an indoor playground for children, in Bangsar Shopping Centre (BSC) by May 1, says group marketing officer Loke Kah Peng.
The company had spent RM5 million for the purpose to meet its growing customer base, he said.
“The Jungle Gym in BSC is our most-visited indoor playground for children, out of the three that we are currently operating. Other than BSC, Jungle Gym is also located at Atria Shopping Gallery and Sky Avenue, Genting Highlands.
“The response from the public has been really good. That is why we are expanding the BSC branch,” he told the New Straits
Times at the media preview event, here, yesterday.
The BSC Jungle Gym, which has been open since September 2008, has been expanded to 23,830 sq ft from 6,000 sq ft, providing an edutainment playland for children in a safe environment.
The facilities include ball pits, slides, crawling tunnels, trampoline, air guns, Babyland, Mani Futsals and basketball field.
Loke said major change at the BSC outlet included the conversion of the skating rink to an event space.
“Jungle Gym is an ideal location for an event or party. The playland has organised numerous parties and it has become a favourite among the guests,” he said.
The place can accommodate up to 387 guests at one time.
Loke said Food Tree Restaurant would also open its door to its guests for the first time.
In conjunction with the opening, Jungle Gym offers a discount of 27 per cent for purchase of 20 tickets and 47 per cent for 50 tickets.
The tickets for toddler (below 2 years old) are RM25 on weekdays and RM35 on weekends. For children aged 2 to 15 years, the tickets are RM48 for weekdays and RM66 for weekends.
Meanwhile, for OWG’s JGFoodTree Combo promotion, customers can buy kids tickets for playground and meal sets at only RM58 for weekdays and RM72 for weekends.
For diners at The Food Tree Restaurant, they are entitled for a 20 per cent discount. All promotions are valid from May 1 to 31 this year.
