SUSANNA Koh, wife of missing Pastor Raymond Koh hopes Holy Week, celebrated by the Christian community, will bring tidings on her husband’s whereabouts.

She said she prayed and hoped that Koh would be found and released.

“We hope for closure this Holy Week.

“We pray that it will be over. The darkness and difficulty will pass.

“It’s similar to our belief that Jesus died on Good Friday, but rose again on Easter Sunday. We hope for a miracle,” she said at the Council of Churches Malaysia building here yesterday.

Earlier, Susanna presented the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia’s (Suhakam) findings

on the disappearance of Koh and social activist Amri Che Mat to Christian Federation of Malaysia (CFM) chairman Archbishop Julian Leow Beng Kim.

On April 3, Suhakam concluded that Koh and Amri were abducted by Bukit Aman Special Branch agents.

Amri disappeared on Nov 24, 2016 and Koh on Feb 13, 2017.

After the report was released, the government had, on April 5, decided that it would open a new investigation and set up a task force to study Suhakam’s findings.

Leow said CFM and the victims’ families would try to secure an appointment to meet Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

“CFM will bring the plight of Koh’s and Amri’s families to the government’s attention.

“We will write to the prime minister.

“We will bring in the consultative councils of Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Christianity and Sikhism for the meeting.”
