Throwback to Ramadan memories

HOTEL Sri Petaling Kuala Lumpur will have a Ramadan buffet themed #throwback Ramadan, meant to evoke the delightful memory of breaking fast with family members and friends. This year, the hotel will bring a wide array of traditiona­l dishes with ‘The Hawker Stall’ concept where patrons can savour about 80 items specially picked from a melting pot of cultures including Malay-style cooking, the Middle East, and Asean among others.

Among the items available include ayam

percik Kelantan, ketam goreng berempah, ayam opor Pahang, asam pedas daging tetel, ikan patin tempoyak Pahang, siput sedut masak lemak, kambing panggang, daging gulai kawah and many more.

Sup gear box is also set to be a favourite as patrons can fill their tummies with piping hot soup throughout the break fast session.

Patrons can also end their meal with desserts of an assortment of Malay kuih-muih and cakes. There is also the all-time favourite apam balik.

The hotel is expecting some 4,000 guests. It can accommodat­e about 200 people at one time.

In the spirit of Ramadan, the hotel will also carry out a Corporate Social Responsibi­lity programme with the local authority and Masjid Asy Syakirin, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre by distributi­ng bubur lambuk to the surroundin­g community.

Orphans will also be welcomed to break fast at the hotel through special arrangemen­t by the hotel.

The buffet starts from May 8 until June 3 from 6.30pm to 10pm.

The buffet is priced at RM79nett for adults and RM39nett for children aged five to 12.

There is a special price offer for the first week of Ramadan where the buffet is priced at RM50nett from May 8 to 12.

For the Early Bird promotion, those buying the coupon before April 30 can enjoy a promotiona­l price of RM60nett.
