Avira’s strategic location draws buyers

- Sharen Kaur

Medini Iskandar in Medini Iskandar, Johor, is attracting local and foreign investors as well as house buyers.

Avira, an 83.8ha development by Eastern & Oriental Bhd (E&O), is a master-planned community made up of landed residences, serviced apartments, condominiums and commercial units.

E&O recently introduced the second phase, Avira Garden Terraces, which recorded a 70 per cent take-up even before its official launch.

Senior general manager of marketing and sales Wayne Wong said Avira’s strategic location in Medini Iskandar Malaysia’s Flagship Zone B has made it a sought-after property.

Wong said a strong factor that drew the interest of investors is its proximity to major attractions and developments such as Legoland, Puteri Harbour Theme Park, EduCity, Pinewood Iskandar Malaysia Studios and the Gleneagles Medini Hospital.

Additionally, Medini has a comprehensive infrastructure put in place by

the government, with easy accessibility to major highways. It is also a mere seven minutes’ drive to the Second Link.

“We are pleased that residents in Avira can enjoy the benefits of retail, education and lifestyle options,” said Wong.

The recent completion of the clubhouse in Avira is an added attraction.

Wong believes that these factors, as well as E&O’s track record, give buyers the assurance that Avira is an attractive property investment and residential area.

“We are confident that the appeal of our products is a testament of E&O’s brand promise in delivering innovative concepts and quality homes. We are committed to this promise across our portfolio of properties, be it Avira or our homes in Seri Tanjung Pinang in Penang, or the Seri Tanjung Pinang Phase 2A development that is taking shape,” he added.
