“Jemput Makan” at Sunway Resort Cafe

-

Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa once again welcomes the Ramadan month with its annual Jemput Makan themed buffet. The buffet spread is available at The Resort Café, featuring over 400 dishes prepared by a team of chefs led by the cafe’s Sous Chef Tournant Chef Mohamad Yatim Supaat.

He has over 20 years of experience working in local and international hotels.

The team is set to tantalise local palates with a multitude of mouth-watering selections served indoor on the restaurant’s expansive buffet spread and outdoor with 10 food highlights in bazaar-style stations from May 6 to June 4, serving nightly from 6.30pm to 10.30pm.

This year, alongside the many favourite perennial dishes and specialities The Resort Café is known for, a blend of timeless and classic recipes to entice

and rekindle the palate will be introduced.

Taking centre stage are 10 main stall highlights where a multitude of offerings from savoury to sweet awaits. Diners are invited to step outside the restaurant where a bustling Ramadan bazaar-like concept of live action stations awaits, filling the air with enticing aromas.

The stalls include the asam pedas gearbox station, Churrasco station, grilled seafood station, golek station, kawah station, warisan station, noodle station, nasi station, satay station and goreng-goreng station.

Dishes served indoor at The Resort Café are not to be missed. These include Malay dishes like sambal udang petai, perut lembu masak air asam, kupang masak merah berserai and ayam masak ala gajus, steamboat on the buffet with 70 choice ingredients and two types of broth served nightly with flavours on rotation, and also a variety of selections from the Chinese, Indian and Western spread. The buffet is priced at RM188 nett per adult and RM98 nett per child (aged between six to 12 years).

For those dining between May 6 to 9 and June 1 to 4, there will be a 40 per cent off the buffet price for both adult and child; and an early bird offer of RM138 nett per adult for those who purchase their seats before April 30 for dining between May 10 and 31.
