1 What is your WeeKly eXercise routine?

It consists mostly of weight training. I try to hit the gym at least three times a week whenever possible, and on each day, I concentrat­e on weight training for different parts of the body. I also include a bit of cardio and core training when necessary.

2 What is your Fitness aiM?

To reach an optimum level in my physical and mental well-being which I believe, will also allow me to do so much more in life.

3 What is your FaVourite WorKout?

I don’t have just one favourite. However, I do enjoy core and leg training exercises as it pushes me to constantly test my strength and challenges me to do better each time .

4 are you a gyM JunKie or outdoor eXerciser?

I’d say I’m more of a gym junkie. I do enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, and try to include it in my schedule whenever I can.

5 hoW do you get oVer Being too laZy to eXercise?

To be honest, this is a struggle especially after a long day at work.

What I try to do is to remind myself of the goal I’m trying to achieve and basically force myself to get up and head to the gym.

6 What is your typical BreaKFast?

A bowl of muesli, and my favourite — roti telur! I have roti almost every day without fail. It’s not exactly a healthy breakfast, but it keeps me fuelled!

7 What is the one JunK Food you can’t liVe Without?

Ice-cream and chocolate! Those two are my biggest weaknesses! Sometimes I have ice-cream after gym to reward myself for a good workout!

8 What’s the First thing you do aFter WaKing up in the Morning?

I pray and give thanks for another day of life and then head straight to the shower.

9 hoW do you recoVer FroM a hard WorKout?

I usually eat comfort food and also take some “down time” to fully recover. I believe that a healthy mind is as important as a healthy body, so it’s essential to prioritise both.

10 What’s the one thing that eXercise has taught you?

How much more capable I am, especially when it comes to what my body and mind can do. I wouldn’t have realised my physical strengths and weaknesses if it weren’t for my workout routines.

11 do you preFer to eXercise indiVidual­ly or in a group?

In groups. It’s fun having some company around. I started out by training with a couple of friends, which then grew into a bigger group, and these people who were once strangers, have now become like family.

12 do you listen to Music While eXercising?

Yes. I really like listening to R&B and hip hop. Though it’s not the usual convention­al workout music, the beat keeps me pumped up!
