FEDERAL TERRITORY (PLANNING) ACT 1982 NOTICE OF PREPARATION OF DRAFT STRUCTURE PLAN

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the Federal Territory (Planning) Act 1982 [Act 267], the Commissioner of the City of Kuala Lumpur gives notice of the preparation of a draft structure plan for the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur named as the draft Kuala Lumpur Structure Plan 2040.

A copy of the draft Kuala Lumpur Structure Plan 2040 may be inspected or purchased during office hours and on Saturday from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm at the Department of Town Planning, Level 13, Menara DBKL 1, Jalan Raja Laut, 50350 Kuala Lumpur from 18 February 2020 to 18 March 2020.

The fee for the purchase of a copy of the draft Kuala Lumpur Structure Plan 2040 shall be as prescribed in the Federal Territory (Planning) (Fee for Purchase of Draft Structure Plan) Rules 2020 [P.U. (A) 59/2020].

The public is invited to make objections or representations, in writing, in respect of the draft Kuala Lumpur Structure Plan 2040 stating the grounds for the objections or representations to the Commissioner of the City of Kuala Lumpur at the Department of Town Planning, Level 13, Menara DBKL 1, Jalan Raja Laut, 50350 Kuala Lumpur or by e-mail to jprb@dbkl.gov.my, on or before 18 March 2020.

The Commissioner of the City of Kuala Lumpur will fix a time and place to hear the objections or representations made.
