Since its opening on March 9, the largest Starbucks Reserve store in Malaysia has been getting much media hype.

Speaking at the event, TGM’s Managing Director, Andrew Ashvin, said that the Tropicana Management and team members were particularly buoyed by the strong start and upbeat response from the shoppers.

“Staying true to our Tropicana mantra, we aim to redefine the art of living by providing a wholesome neighbourhood mall where our community can live, shop, relish and relax.

“Netting support from a global brand like Starbucks and having them

opened their premium and largest Starbucks Reserve in our mall is an important milestone for us. We appreciate Starbucks, as well as all our tenants’ support. We will continue to raise the bar, alleviating shoppers’ experience in our mall. To date, our mall is also home to many other local and international brands like Thai Odyssey, Qi Odyssey, Village Grocer, H&M, Defacto, HLA, Adidas, Puma, BookXcess, Co-Labs, Restaurant Extra Super Tanker, Royce Chocolate, and more.

“There is something for everyone in our mall. We hope to continue this momentum and will be unveiling more exciting stores soon such as JONETZ by Don Don Donki and the flagship Sports Direct store.”

“When we opened the first Starbucks Reserve store five years ago, it created an immersive coffee destination unlike any other. Now, we are thrilled to be offering this unique and immersive Starbucks Experience to Tropicana Gardens Mall, bringing people and communities closer together,” said Sydney Quays, Group CEO of Berjaya Food Berhad and Managing Director of Starbucks Malaysia & Brunei. “We are especially grateful to the Tropicana team for their support, and we look forward to continuing our work with them as we grow the Starbucks business in Malaysia.”

Spanning more than 6,200 sq ft of retail space, Starbucks Reserve is the largest in the market. Located on the Ground Floor, West Walk of Tropicana Gardens Mall, the store features two bars: a main bar offering all core and seasonal handcrafted Starbucks beverages, as well as a coffee bar that offers six different brewing methods, including pourover, Chemex, siphon, Black Eagle espresso, and Nitro Cold Brew. It also boasts a high ceiling as well as expansive indoor and outdoor seating areas.

This unique signature store offers an immersive coffee experience and celebrates allthings coffee. The layout of the store itself is similar to the shape of a coffee bean, with a large curvature and floor-to-ceiling windows that connect to a small garden and rapid transit station. The main highlight of the store is a 50-foot wide ‘Wall of Gratitude’, which features photos of more than 200 frontliners medical workers, and Starbucks baristas. The mural serves as both a way to pay tribute to the people who have been fighting together against the COIVD-19 pandemic and also as a physical reminder of the events of the past year that have made Malaysians stronger and more resilient than ever.

Tropicana Gardens Mall, located in the heart of the bustling community between Kota Damansara and Tropicana Indah, is the largest neighbourhood mall in the vicinity. Spanning about 1 million sq ft, this vibrant shopping centre consists of 7 floors and about 300 stores. Strategically connected to the Surian MRT station, Tropicana Gardens Mall serves a wide yet discerning customer base and features a unique mix of Lifestyle, Dining, and Entertainment brands. Residents live in style and comfort at the luxury serviced apartments of Arnica, Bayberry, Cyperus, Dianthus, and Edelweiss, and enjoy the amenities and facilities below at the mall.

Currently, the mall is pulsating with many promotional activities. Discover its Fashion Food Festival and unique tenant mix at www.
