MICHELIN X MULTI Z2 RANGE GROWS
MICHELIN is introducing two new sizes for its Michelin X Multi Z2 truck tyres. They are now available in new dimensions of 295/80R22.5 and 12R22.5, along with the original 11R22.5, at all authorised Michelin truck tyre dealers nationwide.

Among the major breakthroughs in the Michelin X Multi Z2 is the Regenion technology, where differently shaped grooves ensure minimal tread deformation and lowers rolling resistance, leading to smaller fuel consumption.
Using new 3D metal printing techniques, the longitudinal grooves regenerate as the tyre wears. This deand livers a high level of grip traction throughout its lifecycle in all weather conditions and lowers the wear rate.
It has more than 20 per cent greater longevity compared to the Michelin X Multi Z1.
Infinicoil are reinforced tread plies with a continuously wound steel wire of up to 400m long, depending on tyre size, inside the casing. The high tensile steel wire increases tyre strength and, thus, optimises the ground contact patch and delivers high mileage potential.
This technology is said to provide
greater stability throughout the tyre’s lifetime, help reduce risk of sudden pressure loss for better vehicle control, extend mobility even when punctured, and improve uneven wear as it flattens the contact patch.
Lastly, the HT Nylon-strengthened bead endurance helps not only to reduce tyre damage linked to long-distance/highspeed usage and continuous usage cycle by 10 per cent but also increases retreadability.
