Agmo launches dashboard for charge point operators
Homegrown digital solutions and application development specialist Agmo Holdings Bhd has launched its new electric vehicle (EV) dashboard for charge point operators (CPOs).
The EV Dashboard can assist CPOs in planning the installation of their charging stations by leveraging artificial intelligence and big data analysis technologies.
Chief executive officer Tan Aik Keong said the company’s mission was to provide digitally powered environmental, social and governance solutions that could help customers succeed in their business operations in a sustainable way.
“Armed with multiple sets of relevant data, the new Agmo EV Dashboard is a powerful tool that will provide valuable information to CPOs so that they can make informed decisions about where to install charging stations, how many are needed, and where they should be located.
“This will help CPOs optimise their return of investment and ensure profitability for their investments, which are crucial aspects in ensuring long-term resiliency for both CPOs and EV users alike,” he said.
On the back of the anticipated growth of the EV ecosystem in the country, Agmo has been developing a range of EV-related app solutions.
It has developed an app platform to locate the nearest EV stations and backend system for EV charging stations for its customers.
“The development of this tool will help build a better EV ecosystem in Malaysia by preventing redundant charging points from being established due to the lack of reliable data.”
“From consumers’ perspective, efficient planning and installation of charging stations at optimum locations by CPOs would encourage much wider EV adoption while addressing the issue of ‘range anxiety’ among EV owners,” he added.
