The ‘Siapa Sangka Menduga’, ‘Gelisah Mimpi’ and ‘Andainya Aku Bersuara’ hit-maker added that she would streamline the upcoming concert by reducing the song list from 34 tracks to 20 tunes to deliver more impact to the audience.

“For a two-hour, non-stop concert, 20 songs would be a good number to deliver the best performances. At the most, it’ll be 22 songs.

“In addition, I have included my latest single, ‘Takdir Itu Milik Aku’, which is also the original soundtrack for the drama series of the same name, starring Shaheizy Sam and Emma Maembong.

“In terms of choosing the day of the show, if possible, I won’t do it on Sunday because fans from outside of Singapore would find it difficult to take time off,” she said.

Two weeks before her Kuala Lumpur concert, Liza, who hails from Klang, Selangor, was under the weather and had to use a nebuliser to aid her breathing.

Although she succeeded in holding her concert, she explained that she has not fully recovered and is still taking medication according to her doctor’s advice.

“As a singer known for highpitched songs, I believe I can perform better in concerts if I didn’t have to deal with health problems like this. But I accept the fact that it has already been fated.

“What happened was scary because I couldn’t sing for five days before the concert due to my sickness and a lot of people were depending on me at that time.

“So, I’m now making sure that I take every single step to make sure my health is much better soon, from wearing a face mask in public places to taking a lot of vitamins and such,” she said.

The mother of five is also planning another concert at the end of the year.

Liza added that she is ready to share her knowledge and contribute to the local music industry that has made her what she is today.

“I’m not chasing glamour or popularity anymore. My mission now is to continue the legacy of the local musical field and, if possible, to nurture the next generation of talent,” said Liza, who added that she would not refuse an offer to serve as a jury member or mentor in a singing competition show.

“I was a judge during the final stage of Anugerah Juara Lagu not long ago and I was also a judge on TV3’s ‘My Star LG’ programme with Datuk Hattan,” she said.
