The Covid-19 pandemic has shown us the best and the ugly sides of humanity. I was heartened, however, to see the more positive side of humanity where so many came forward and put themselves at risk to save the lives of the sick and helpless.

Here I would like to especially thank all of our country’s frontliners and the kind samaritans for their magnanimous contributions to the nation. My heart also goes out to all the poor and underprivileged who suffer a lot during this trying time – they always pay the price in times of crisis.

I strongly believe there is hope for a much better world waiting for us after this crisis.
