A1938 Bugatti Type 57C coupe Atalante Auctioned by Artcurial Motorcars in Paris for ¤ 2.9 million ( RM14 million).

packed salesroom at Retromobile 2018 witnessed the sale of this rare Atalante, with an aluminium body and matching numbers. Of a series of 34 vehicles assembled between 1935 and 1939, the coachwork bears the assembly number 25, marking it as the 25th Atalante with a long Type 57 chassis. The vehicle boasts an extensive history of Swiss ownership, having been constructed for the 1938 Geneva Motor Show.
